About SLCC

The San Leandro Computer Club was started in 1983, by people who had purchased the affordable Atari 800 microcomputer at the West Coast Computer Faire and wanted to learn more about the device.

Meetings were held at the San Leandro Public Library, and continue to this day (2023). Most of our SLCC Journal newsletters have been uploaded to the Internet Archive. We put together a list of them in our Newsletter Archive. Even the famous, 70 page June 1985 Special Edition of the SLCC Journal, is available. We have been in existance for about 40 yrs (as of 2023).

This web site and our Facebook page are being updated by SLCC member, Bill George.
